It would be really fun having a bike appropriate for Joyride, but till then my ol’ stumpy will have to do.

I looked around at all my spare parts and realized all I needed was a frame to put them on. 😀

Hey Jesse, I know nothing about DJ, so I won’t speak to that aspect of the frame. However, you’re a fairly tall dude and a 21″ top tube is gonna result in a lot of knee bumping.

ps1 Does anyone hit Joyride on Tuesdays? Have yet to see any familiar faces

I should have my jump bike together in a couple weeks and am planning to head up on some of the tuesdays and thursdays that the Don night ride moves there.

It would be really fun having a bike appropriate for Joyride, but till then my ol’ stumpy will have to do.

Might I suggest my 2008 P2? Never ridden frame, cheap but solid build, and I’m open to trades or partial sales (like if you don’t want the fork or whatever). Something to think about!

The snow’s lookin’ pretty deep in the Don.

I’m in for Joyride. I’ve got a new (/CR’s old) P2 to put through its paces. Any chance for a ride?

In the mighty done there was to much snow
So off to joyride the cupcakes they did go
But in the valley were two men with no fear
On thier trusty steel steads with only one gear
Lights ablaze, pedals cranking enjoying natures show

    Great ride thanks Allen

And all is right with the world again.

On topic: I did ride the flats and the Ridge last night. Flats and Crothers were hard-packed and pretty easy going, but once the tracks started to fade out on the ridge it became a pretty tough slog, but it was mostly rideable on my regular summer tires. Ice was not a factor.

I was going to post a trail conditions report, but since it started snowing before I even got home, it seems kind of pointless. I finally broke down and put the studded wheels on for the ride to work this AM.

Hahahaha, that’s great! The ride last night was indeed poetic – well done, Bryant!

The only thing that’s missing is the improvised 96er Frankenbike – but I’m sure that weirder things have happened in the Don…

Deep snow and one gear… sounds like a hoot.
I’d rather get a tooth pulled.
