Mike here with Sacred Rides. We’re all looking forward to riding with you at next week’s Trails and Ales event in Durham. Last week’s event in Toronto was a huge success, with over 50 riders enjoying a beautiful evening of riding in the Don Valley and great food and beer at Mill Street Brewery.
We’re over half-full and down to just 27 tickets – can you do us a favour and spread the word about the event to your friends? Every dollar raised from the event goes directly to Bikes Without Borders, and let’s face it – mountain biking, free food, and free beer tasting isn’t exactly a tough sell.
There are a few ways you can help spread the word:

Thanks for you help, and here’s to mountain biking, good griends, good grub, and good beer – see you next Tuesday!

As per an email received at noon today, the event has been postponed to next Tuesday, May 28, due to risk of heavy rains.
Based on the shitshow going on outside my window right now I’d say they made the right call!May 22, 2013 at 6:02 pm #561544

Great turn out but was a short ride for us. My buddy was having nasty drivetrain issues – repeated chain suck – so we headed out for a repair right round when the rain really started coming down and the lightning started. So we packed it in for the evening. Hope everyone else had a great rip!May 29, 2013 at 2:52 am #561539
Short ride before the thunderstorm rolled in. The first bit when the rain was light was great. Super heroic traction. It started to get a little sloppy, then it just got messy. We retreated to the bar for food and beer. I got a t-shirt from the raffle, woo!!
