Great kick-off to the season. Wish I could have kept riding with you all especially after holding everyone up. (Thanks anyway for the hanger Tim it got me home like a charm!)
However when exactly two pedal strokes after fixing a relatively catastrophic failure with the help of the group, I pull up to find my cleat detached from my shoe and in my pedal and upon attempting to repair it the alternate bolt holes all strip out, it was clear some higher force was telling me to go home.
Til the next big dirty!

Haha! It turns out our visiting rider Manchester Paul is actually an Enduro Pro across the pond. Here’s a video;April 20, 2015 at 7:28 pm #802893
Awesome ride yesterday! I got crazy sunburned!
Thanks to everyone who made it out, and here’s to a new tradition! To think that, in few short months, we’ll be able to ride all this in half the time.
PS I posted this same video on the Don Vivants Facebook page earlier and Paul replied saying that he’s heart-broken to be leaving Canada, so we made an impression on him too.April 20, 2015 at 9:46 pm #802896
Is someone willing to marry or adopt Paul so he doesn’t have to leave? Great to be out and about with everyone yesterday – sorry I couldn’t make the riverside apres. woot woot!April 20, 2015 at 10:39 pm #802897

That’s probably why he could hop on with us for five hours with no food and barely any water. Kudos to him.
I skipped Rim Job and took the short line to Doobitorium cause my stomach was feeling a bit shitty, so I wanted a rest. He was there alone and asked me which way to the next trail. I pointed him towards PA, but invited him on the ride since we were going to be hitting all the trails that day. Then he stuck around for the whole bloody thing, and the Stunt Camp afterwards! I even went home before he did. What a guy!
