Killer weekend. Killer loop. Certainly not for the feint of heart, but also not excessively difficult. End of day one was clearly the filter and everyone was a champ.
Day One: Massive amounts of single track could only possibly be out done by Cookie Crumble in Kleinburg taking our soaking wet sweaty asses in and feeding us breakfast and nearly 3:00pm.
Day Two: Last minute “Food Land” and the beer angel hooking us up royally in a pinch. Best PBR’s ever!
Day Three: Insane variety of terrain, Everything you’ve ever seen in Ontario and more. Only possible competition was a giant ice cream cookie, but I have a soft spot for that breakfast of champions.
If you were on the fence you missed a good one, if you were thinking maybe this was something you wanted to try out, you missed a good one, if you think we’re all fucking crazy you don’t know what you’re talking about.
This was easily the most rewarding experience I’ve had on the bike. Great scenery, great riding, great company. There’s something particularly great about cracking open a cold beer by the fire after 7 hours of riding over pretty much every terrain condition imaginable in Ontario. Big thanks to @fasttimes for route-planning and organization, and for working overtime in order to join in on the last 2/3rds. And a big thanks to @blurredlines and @jhop for being generally awesome guys. When’s our next trip gonna be?
Wow – this looks like an amazing few days on (and off) the bike. Glad the weather ended up cooperating! Thanks for sharing the pictures and the stories.
