    Just a note about the Pan Am games in general, as I’ve just bought two tickets for the Medal Mountain Bike Event at Hardwood hills for $62.50 for both and including taxes using the promotion CIBC, one of the main TO2015 sponsors, is offering.

    25% off tickets purchased between July 1 at 10 a.m. ET and July 2 at 9 p.m. ET using the promo code: CIBCPANA

    It’s here, why not support it. BMX has already sold out though.

    Have a good Canada Day! Beers Bikes BBQ!

    Thanks for the heads up. Ticket purchased. Should be awesome to see pro riders rip it up.

    Awesome! Glad this was worth putting out there for at least one fellow rider! Exactly my thoughts too, why not see these guys! ?

    Please, please do not buy tickets to any PanAm Games events! I know it would be nice to support the athletes, yadda, yadda, but damn, if these games go over well TO will pursue stupid idea of bidding for the Olympics. The city, province and country have better things to spend their money on than hosting the Olympics and a mediocre show of support for the PanAm Games is likely the best way to prevent having to endure the Olympic circus in our backyard.

    @whynot you’re such a grump.

    I’m going to see Track Finals, will watch road racing in my neighbourhood and might buy MTB tickets too.

    World class bike racing is awesome, traffic be damned.

    Yup. Haha

    But seriously, there’s no upside to hosting the Olympics other than pride, let other cities nearly bankrupt themselves cow-towing to the IOC.
