I’ve got a couple bikes with 10-14yr old 4 piston Grimeca System 8 brakes. I love ’em. I don’t want to replace them. I want to keep them going for as long as is practical. My problem is that parts are nearly impossible to find.

If anyone has some Grimecas in their parts bin I’m interested in buying them. Also, older shimano hydraulic levers, M755, M756 and M765 share some parts with the Grimecas and are useful to me too.

I have some XT levers kicking around somewhere, circa 2003/2004, I think. Calipers are seized, but th epods and levers are dandy. In fact, they have Dangerboy levers on them which feel 10x better than Xt did… let me know if interested.

    Yeah, I’m interested in that.
