Hey @jason_petznick If I have time that day I’ll come meet you for a loop. If I can’t make it or you prefer to head out on your own, here is the loop we did.
Park here on Mole Rd.
You can start with Sidewinder and make your way around pretty easily. From sidewinder you can break east or west and get a great ride in. The closed trails are clearly marked. Most trails are fairly short so can create loops pretty easily.October 24, 2016 at 3:24 pm #813961
And here is a map you can print off.October 27, 2016 at 7:10 am #814078

Great bumping into you. I went back today to Puslinch and they are now 100% blown off and absolutely perfect. I came across the man himself, Tim, and was able to thank him. Great fall riding out there this weekend.November 14, 2016 at 9:35 am #814378
Rode Kelso on the weekend, trails are pretty much 100% with some leaves down, but for the most part packed in or blown off the mainline. Good to go.
What a great season, with temps in the low teens still!
Marc, there are two new loops added in those trails by Bronte now, with a few more on the go.November 14, 2016 at 9:41 am #814379
Sweet, thanks @renegade-hardware
Also just a note on Kelso that the 15th was the proposed closing date. Though maybe with the epic week coming up they will extend that.
Thanks for the updates!November 14, 2016 at 10:58 am #814380
Where can I find out the closing date? I don’t see it on their official website. I may be headed out near that way next weekend and was hoping to finally try out these trails – I’ve heard a lot of good things.November 14, 2016 at 7:17 pm #814388
I rode Dagmar today and it is about 75% leaf blown. The outer loop is leaf free but all trails are in great condition.
Last year the Dagmar trails closed the first week of December so if you want to ride there you had better do it soon.
Cheers.November 15, 2016 at 8:43 pm #814394
Durham Forest update. Most of the trails have been blown. Trails are in excellent shape.November 16, 2016 at 10:28 am #814399

I’ll second that. Durham was a blast yesterday…. best dirt conditions of the season and the leaf-blowing gnomes should be anointed with sainthood.
The new trail, Missing Link, is tons of fun and allows all the north and east singletrack to be linked together with no more than a few feet of double track. So good.

Anyone know what the conditions are in Durham today? I’m thinking about heading up there this afternoon.November 27, 2016 at 10:12 am #814481
Recent images I’ve seen are slight dusting of snow. But with this mild weather that could be gone. Will depend of whether the recent rain has been absorbed.
I’d venture a guess that it’s good.

I was there yesterday at 9 – 11:30 and the conditions were fairly good with some trails covered in snow and others bare and dry. All in all a great ride.
Also the logging is done for now and the trails heading south out of the parking lot are now open. The loggers made a mess of the double track but the single track is rideable.November 27, 2016 at 4:29 pm #814483
Thanks guys, I only made as far as Jefferson forest but conditions were great there. Everything was damp and a little leafy still but not soft or greasy at all.
