I am beyond stoked to report that Evergreen Brick Works is piloting a youth (13-15 MTB) leadership camp this summer. Registration and a really basic description can be found here: http://www.evergreen.ca/our-impact/children/day-camps/green-city-adventure-camp/ (under the Bike Ventures Leadership tab).
One session is in July and one session is in August. Kids will spend half their time on bike learning technical skills and riding, a quarter on mechanical skills, and another quarter on leadership skill building!
Holler at me or at email@example.com for more information.

Very cool. My 14 year old self would have gone crazy for something like this! My son is too young, but am going to keep this in mind for a few years down the road. Unless… do you accept 39 year olds?March 26, 2016 at 11:22 am #809865
Ha! We’ll be piloting some skills clinics this year for adults as well (although not exactly the same camp experience, unfortunately). We’re kicking things off with a women’s only clinic on May 8. If there’s enough demand we’ll run some co-ed clinics as well.
If you’re looking for mechanical instruction, we do that all the time. We’re getting some upgraded ramps from Joyride 150 for our modular obstacle course very soon as well. Keep yours eyes on the Bike Works page and for a whack of fun later in the spring/through summer (http://www.evergreen.ca/get-involved/evergreen-brick-works/whats-here/bike-works/).September 19, 2018 at 8:11 pm #820402
Upgraded ramps from Joyride 150? Are there any TTF’s in the brickworks area?
