Look at all the snow up north 😉 It was fun trying to photograph all you clowns while being pelted with snowballs!

Oh, below was the route. More or less. My phone conked out on Motown, but you get the idea. And our odd lunch spot.

What a way to spend the last Sunday in October! Thanks for organizing and feeding us such a delicious meal, Chris. Thanks to Tim for leading. And a special thanks to both Al’s for the first aid.

Already looking forward to next year!

Next year, if there’s any pavement, the leader has to tow everyone else whilst on it.

@alen_z – you didn’t like being the mule?

I had an awesome ride! Super stoked I could take part.

Here are some photos/Google-Generated animations from the ride.

I count 11 riders at the snow piles. That’s a great turnout for a BDDR. I’ve only ever seen 5 or 6 come out. Sadly could not make it myself, had family things to attend to.

    Nice ride!

BDDR is epic. Must be done again cause you guys are all awesome.

Made it out alive and I think the only thing that hurt more than my knee is my ass… or waking up to an email that my rear shock had arrived. Not sure it would have helped (anyone know of a good lateral knee brace)?

@marley – thanks for being the drive behind organizing this. I’ll look forward to enjoyin your hospitality another time.

@trail_head – thanks for keeping us “on track” and going in at the very least an entertaining direction.

@Not Alen Z Alan – I have your wrench still, shoot me a PM so that I may return it. Your departure was to quick for me to even imagine chasing you , but thanks again for keepin’ me on the trail a little longer.

Great shots @whisky_cactus. That tree crossing shuffle is hilarious.

I know this pic is similar to another I posted, but the pose is better. Not sure how I missed it before.

Looks like everyone had a blast. I had a family commitment in the AM but at least got out for a ride in the afternoon.
Hopefully I’ll make the next one!

That was definitely a blast – epic ride with a great bunch of people. Chris: big thanks for setting it up – hopefully I’ll be able to join up for the apres next time. Tim: thanks for keeping us pointed in the right direction, and good to hear you weren’t in the dog house from staying out so long. Ben: thanks for guiding as well, although you need to work on those crosswalks 🙂

    Great pics.

I’m impressed someone has a camera or phone that can do stop-motion HDR.

I’d like to say that I had some kind of important obligation that prevented me from coming, but the truth is I had the whole day to myself and spent it on another long road ride.

    I’m sorry.

    Next year.
