Mainlined some pure Don relief this aft…

Boo is not mint. There are three mud washouts, only one of which has a go-around. Maybe 98% mint?
Bunny is indeed mint. As are Dirt Farm and Bunny Poop Droppings.

Can’t wait to go back. Thanks and good vibes to everyone!

Bellringer has been made a little more ridable…still sandy, but definitely more clearance, it s work in progress 😉

I would post a picture but that requires me to be logged in and use a direct shot at the time of the post…which its way to dark for, soooo, enjoy!

P.s Marc, being able to post from ones phones gallery(not just sharables from social media sites) is key if you want pics and firsthand updates to your site…just sayin 😘

Had an awesome ride this morning… Pottery, Crothers, Flats, Boo, Swamp, Woods Gundy, Ridge, Three Rocks. Had to walk around a few spots, but so great to be back in there! Thanks to whoever moved the tree on WG, and all the trail fairies for all your dedication.

Hey @yella-one. You can attach images directly in a post from your phone. If you want it to display full size in post you will need to upload to the gallery first. Best I can do.

Half way done up up and way 3 days in. Wow. Will tackle 4play exit tonight. Can’t believe it hadn’t been fixed yet.

@neville-park Thanks, if you see me out on the trails before I leave
i usually have it if anyone wants to no harm in asking –___–

    Cheers.

But is there any way to post a pic from my phones gallery…not taking a pic while signed in to upload?

Yep. I’ll send you a message to not clutter this thread.

Encountered a hidden obstacle that slashed the sidewalls on both my tires at the same time. It’s at the top of the asylum climb just before the small jump before you go down and up again. I was following someone else pretty close, going a decent speed, and didn’t see this coming. It might be that I’ve never noticed it but now that I have it seems kinda dangerous. I got off lucky. It’s a large metal stake that sticks out 5”. I tried to pull it up but it’s in there good. Will need to dig it out. I hammered sticks on either side to draw more attention to it.

Thanks for the photo. Looks like an old boundary marker Surveyors use, an IB (Iron Bar). They are about 4′ long. Best flag it or paint it.

The metal survey stake is now below grade. That’s a complete bummer about your tires @slabs. I’m guessing every rider has been *just* missing it ever since the line was modified. Thanks for marking and reporting it.

Greasy walk this morning. The pond at the north end of Serena Gundy is a wild party of frogs mating. Stop and listen if you’re in the area. Saturday is looking good but you’ll want to sleep in to get hero dirt!

Where is it possible to find @mcbain in real life and give him a hug?

    (Or if he’s old-fashioned, a firm handshake.)

For some time now I’ve been analyzing the LEGO profile photo for clues.

Looks like another reason while I’ll be taking the road up to G-spot (or whatever it’s called)

Sucks about the tires. Mountain biking is brutal for maintenance expenses.

Great day out there today, but a surprising amount of new deadfall. Would have been cool to be out riding last night with trees and trunks crashing down like that, possibly see one coming down nearby.

Crazy wind storm #3 of 2018. Beautiful in there but watch your drivetrain!

On foot Saturday morning Vanderhoof – Swamp – WG – SHT – Rehab stuff – Roller Flowster – 1st leg of 4play clearing deadfall.

Here’s what’s left to be done in this area:
WG: <30 cm ash across trail at highest point
SHT: <30 cm ash across wee boulder drop feature near S end
Hubble’s Return: <30 cm maple on the climb out
Rehab: one small tree crown just poking across flat rim section near Bayview
Roller Flowster: 70 cm shattered trunk bridging the trail in one of the first small g-outs past the first long traverse

Someone else was warning of a hydro line down on Flats near DJ’s but I did not see this firsthand.

And fresh work on the Pottery down line courtesy of a Crothers Stewardship weekend event. Big tree across the trail at the very bottom is on CoT Forestry’s “to do” list.

    @ Mr. Smith

Too bad it isn’t possible to down vote posts here… Your trail work I enjoy immensely, but your posts here are childish and abusive and do nothing to garner this respect you think you deserve.
