It seemed more of the leaves making me slide around somewhat as PA seemed dryer then the Don was as its usually PA being more wet then the Don.

Fruit Loop/Dr Quads (I found it) — good, very leafy
Flats — good, getting a bit greasy here and thereIt was nice and sunny for the start of my ride but a few flakes of snow at the end. There was still some frost/ice at far end of Dr Quads.

Ridge and Catalyst are spectacular with minimal puddles. The Flats are also in good condition however a tree has fallen near the east entance, the medurn and I were unable to move it, a decent sized saw is required. Heads up to any one who is night riding could be a real disaster.
November 5, 2006 at 5:03 am #573247Saturday — well, it was nice today, wasn’t it?
Ridge – flawless. Lots of sections now leafless. I hadn’t ridden it for a while and didn’t realize the old route to the Pottery Rd parking lot had actually been closed off. Consequently sailed right into a bunch of Sumac which had been planted across the trail. Might be worth flagging if anyone has some surveyor’s tape.
The new IMBA switchbacks are nice, although it feels like overkill to me. It will feel better with vegetation.
Flats – great, super fast. Tree still down at north end. A little greasy to the south just before the DJs.
November 7, 2006 at 2:28 am #573248Monday night ride was just about perfect. Catalyst,Ridge and Flats all excellent. P.A. was a bit slick as was the Ridge from the fecal mists around the sewage plant. Didn’t see one person in there which was puzzling because you could not have got a nicer night at this time of the year to ride with lights and a full moon.

the mictural mists are golden
November 8, 2006 at 4:19 pm #573251‘mictural’… LOL, nicely done 🙂
November 9, 2006 at 10:41 pm #573252Catalyst and PA were a little greasy today, but not nearly as bad as yesterday. If there’s no more rain, should be a decent enough ride tomorrow.

TL very good. Even the mud bogs not too bad.
Ridge hella greasy, especially the off-camber stuff. I slid out several times and on one steep bit found myself pedalling forwars but travelling backwards
😯

PA, Catalyst a little bit of traction lacking. FL was leafy while the flats where fine.
November 15, 2006 at 10:36 pm #5732765 PM WEDS. was doing some cleaning on Catalyst, boy did it look good.
November 19, 2006 at 4:17 am #573280Flats seemed pretty rideable yesterday and tonight. Would guess the Ridge and PA are greasy in a few spots.
November 19, 2006 at 11:29 pm #573281Sunday, Nov 19, 2-5pm
PA greasy in places and very wet on the horse trail
Flats in great shape
Ridge mostly very good indeedI was in LA all week and missed the rain but you’d hardly know there’d been any more than usual.
I tried to hack into the north side of Taylor Creek … the trails are still there and in quite good shape but there is so much deadfall inc. a lot of big trees that it is frustrating and unrideable.
