Can’t speak for any other trails except to say please DO NOT go on Smith’s Edge for at least a day or two after a rain – it’s no fun and cannot handle the abuse. Use common sense and be willing to pull the plug on a ride.

Did not ride last night, heard that things were soft from @trail_head. (wink)

Excellent point about Smith’s Edge. If you start riding it and seems even a little bit damp at the start, gracefully duck out, as it’s guaranteed to get worse the further along the trail you get.

I want to ride my bike tonight! But I assume the trails are going to be mush. Can anyone confirm?

Given the amount of rain, I think that is a safe bet.

with this weather by evening I think the ridge and flats will be rideable, but with some bad spots around pottery, the blawbs long line down, and the “advanced” line. Catalyst/PA might be interesting, and Smith’s Edge could be down right terrifying. Climbmaculator seems to do well with water too. Motown you’ll probably be eaten by mosquitos and other flora and dauna

There’s a new toy on The Ridge; 11′ table jump. Enjoy the ride!

There should be a fund raiser kegger by the Rocket to fund this kinda stuff.

I scoped this out yesterday and thought to myself how my tires could probably never touch that gap, but now you built this…

It looks more fun to ride from cricket way as the line is better, but I’ll have to see it in person! Super stoked! Thanks fairy!

Fun aside, this actually is a pretty good thing to have there for noobs too, as I’m sure there have been more bails on that old plank then we’d expect.
