Can’t speak for any other trails except to say please DO NOT go on Smith’s Edge for at least a day or two after a rain – it’s no fun and cannot handle the abuse. Use common sense and be willing to pull the plug on a ride.
Did not ride last night, heard that things were soft from @trail_head. (wink)
Excellent point about Smith’s Edge. If you start riding it and seems even a little bit damp at the start, gracefully duck out, as it’s guaranteed to get worse the further along the trail you get.
with this weather by evening I think the ridge and flats will be rideable, but with some bad spots around pottery, the blawbs long line down, and the “advanced” line. Catalyst/PA might be interesting, and Smith’s Edge could be down right terrifying. Climbmaculator seems to do well with water too. Motown you’ll probably be eaten by mosquitos and other flora and dauna
