People on pink bike didn’t build them. So please stay off them till the dryer weather gets here.
I think I may have a nice ride into the jumps Tuesday to have a look around and see what could happen for the spring.

    Ok enough of this.
    Back to trail conditions.

    Hi all,

^^^ pls reinforce that to the pinkbikers…

Today’s conditions alternate between granular snow, ice patches, followed by mud, soft dirt, leaves, and puddles in really low areas.
Newbies and hikers are already leaving ruts and bootprints which will have a bad effect on this season.

It won’t all be really rideable for another few sunny, windy days. Wouldn’t reccommend trying to get into the DJs.

I rode in as far as the north entrance to the Flats, and up onto the grass at the south end of the Ridge.
Diddn’t go off the pavement. The grass and dirt all in there is REALLLLY soft today.

    cheers,
    brian

Yep it’s wet in there. I did a little bit of riding but called it a day early because i felt bad and the riding wasn;t very fun. It’s prime building season so I’ll be heading up to my favourite spot to tune up the trails.

As much as I’d like to ride I know the trails need at least a good two weeks of sunny-windy conditions..
The fields are sooo saturated,it’ll take time!

It’s like this every in the province really. Which brings up a good point. Riding in the Don is like riding in a Conservation area, everyone is watching. And that means people will make judgements regardless of what science will say.

The good news with this is that the conditions are exellent for any work on some trails, things like berms.

So this means stay off the trails this week. Seriously, don’t ride them.
