If you feel the trails are to wet or they are perfect post that below.
This is not a thread for chit chat so please keep it simple. Other posts that are not targeted towards trail conditions will be deleted.
Even though the dates are on the threads please post the dates and time anyways because some people have the wrong settings in their profile.– Date/time
– Trail section you rode
– Condition of the trailsThis should work out for everyone.

Ridge: Damp/tacky with some greasy sections due to leaves. The usual puddles.
Catalyst: Damp/tacky. Switchback section still a bit spongy, but not messy.
Upper PA: Surprisingly dry. Some dampness. Few puddles.
Overall trails were ok to good. Barring any rain, should be mint tomorrow afternoon.

(sorry, don’t know the trail names…)
Conditions pretty much perfect. Most trails just slightly damp, not greasy. Rocks and roots dry. Fast riding today, and visibility is beginning to open up as the leaves fall.
My loop was from the Go Train crossing up to the Loblaws trailhead then down to the northern parking lot. Then along the fast riverside trail to the dirt jumps and back to the Go Train tracks and the Don trail.
The only mucky bit was the swamp under the very low railroad bridge.
The riverside trail (what is it called?) is spectacularly beautiful at the moment because the sumacs are all turning red and the vines turning yellow.

Ridge and Flats completely, totally awesome.

PA in prime shape. Mudspots in the usual places but the trail doesn’t seem wet or slippery at all.

Dirt jumps are 80% clear of leaves and puddles , but still there are the normal post rain puddles , if there is no rain the rythm section should be ridable by tomorrow 😀Paul

October 21, 2006 at 8:39 pm #573227Sat Oct-21… Was on the Ridge today, and nice and dry. Perfect for riding. Ran into a guy who did The Flats a couple times, said it was fine too.
October 22, 2006 at 2:03 pm #573228Sat Oct 21 4 to 6pm, rode the ridgenorth of Loblaws, Catalyst, the flats and DJ’s all were good. Lots of leaves down on Cat., but traction was still good. We only saw two other riders the whole time.
