@bluemountain – Holas’ can you guys update us tomorrow mid AM on conditions / park status?
Couple of us are leaving half day to come up and ride.
PS – is the lower half of H20 done / open?
Thanks fellas’June 20, 2016 at 8:44 am #811233
Was up yesterday and trails were dusty but in great shape. Fast, decent traction but certainly a limit to the bite point. Pretty much everything was open. H2O was running great. Highlights for me are always Big Sleeze and Squeaker. So good!
Bit of rain today should go a long way. Shotglass remains closed until the race this weekend.July 4, 2016 at 2:24 pm #811428
The Canada Day rain came through, but only really held us back on Friday. Most trails reopened for Saturday, and everything is open today with the exception of Fresh Air.
Trail Crew is currently on Fresh putting a little bit of work into the corners/berms, and just waiting for a good chance to pack it down before opening back up as the fresh dirt is still pretty loose.September 1, 2016 at 1:16 pm #812863
The improvements on H20 were fantastic. Appreciate the topped up lips and berms! Keep up the good work

Was up for some laps yesterday. Was wet, like everything this spring, but just glad it was open. Other than a few wet areas the overall condition was great and traction was amazing. No dust so we had some fun trains going..
I believe there are 9 of 17 runs open today. More rain coming Sunday, so go get some if ya can.
Phoenix was sick. So good!

Hi @bluemountain wondering about the status of lower H20? is she flowing yet?
Showcase, when does that come back online generally?
How are the other black and double blacks doing? Noticed they have been closed for some time from the unfortunate slop
@neville-park and I will be out there tomorrow so will update this thread.
Looking forward to some hot laps on hot trail bikes tomorrow (Slack mode engaged).July 6, 2017 at 1:20 pm #817175
WHAT A DAY AT BLUE!! Arrived at 2:45pm and we were able to get 16 laps!
H20 top half is running smooth! Was shown the lower H20 changes and it looks GREAT! Changes are substantial and well done. More work is needed to repair monsoon damage and was told a few more days needed. Running just top 1/2 of H20 gives you 2 fun technical sections to finish out the run.
Showcase not started yet understandably.
O-chute is still a bit mucky but very fun!
Haole running great.
Fun times on bikes!July 26, 2017 at 9:32 am #817329
Conditions are pretty darn prime
Showcase makes its debut yesterday – bigger berms and a wayyy better exit
haole running as good as it gets
H20 – CAREFUL on the new lower section. A couple jumps are miss-matched with trail speed and you can def over send them
Ochute clearing up and fun
Minions – wet in the corners but some work done too
all the south trails (raisin, fresh, ridge) all in great shape!
Git it while the gittins’ good
BTW – i say its split 50:50 between trail bikes and DH rigs from my anecdotal witnessing … so if you have any reservations about brining your 120mm+ bike up there … dont ! go and enjoy it!!

Thanks for the report.
Def bring any bike… within reason of course!
My first trip to blue was on a Silent Sports HT and I had a great time (and that got me into DH). Don’t let the fact you don’t own a DH bike discourage you from riding there! Just don’t get in over your head or bikes abilities.September 25, 2017 at 12:19 pm #817858
Conditions are as good as they are going to get this season. Pretty stoked that they added the extra days and am taking full advantage of them. Get out while you can. Only a week and a bit left.
Loving the new Nomad. Such a beast!
Trying to get out before the rains this week. Braap!

Fingers crossed that the weather holds up through Thanksgiving weekend!!September 29, 2017 at 2:41 pm #817891
Got some laps in yesterday and conditions were perfect. Finally got to rip Squeeker and other trails at pace that have remained wet all season. Got hammered with rain all day today however. One week left!
Also had the chance to ride the new Hightower LT. Wasn’t sure how I’d get on with a big niner but it was amazing. Insanely quick and capable.

I’ve been up roughly once a week since opening weekend as conditions are so good this year. Trails have been tacky but water free most days. Trails have not yet become a dust bowl but based on my trip up last week could use a bit of rain. All the trails are running well and have received some nice work this spring. Collector is a bit blown and slow. I’ve been earning my turns up the Grind which is now finally dry and good to go, if you like to suffer.July 19, 2018 at 2:25 pm #820108
Conditions were as good as they can be. Dry but tacky. All trails were running fast with some new work on Embryo and Waterfall. Shotglass has an Anaheim deep moto rut down the the center of it and is blown to hell. Was a pretty rowdy ride down but a great one. Full pucker! H2O is flowing super well. Everything links up perfectly, including the bottom half which I usually skip in favour of hoping onto the Ridge. New trail over in the orchards is nearing completion.
More rain coming this weekend so should be even better early next week.
