We caught up with Marc at the Bike Show, and talked about some of the plans for this summer. He mentioned starting a thread here in our forum for collaborative daily conditions similar to what’s happening over in the Don Valley forum. Our Trail Crew doesn’t have time each day to sit down at a computer to provide updates and the Marketing team can’t be out on the trails each day to check out conditions themselves, so we want to create a place where all of our riders can come together to report on conditions on hill.
Leading up to Opening Day, expect to see updates in here about what the Trail Crew is tackling and what we’re hoping to have open for the first weekend. We’ll be sitting down with them later this week to see what they have planned.May 4, 2015 at 2:32 pm #803358
Thanks for once again taking the communities feedback to heart @bluemountain
I hope that everyone will help us with this thread and share daily trail conditions.May 5, 2015 at 12:14 am #803395

Take a look at this fellas…May 5, 2015 at 10:02 am #803401
Pretty pumped that there will be an official trail conditions report for Blue. If any resort/park/trail network needs a thread like this it is them for sure.
Amazing how slippery it gets when it’s wet and how quickly that transition happens.May 22, 2015 at 1:02 pm #803891
Just got back in from riding. Stuck to the blues because you know… Opening Day… rusty… slow to react… etc.
Trails are in good shape. Mainly just loose dirt in some places, and rolling a little bit slow until they get ridden in a little bit more.May 26, 2015 at 4:37 pm #803947
We had quite a bit of rain overnight on Sunday night, with another shower on Monday night. Trail Crew is making the most of the damp conditions to pack down some berms and features that suffered the most during the dry Opening Weekend.May 26, 2015 at 5:44 pm #803950
Was very dry for opening weekend. Be nice to get a bit of rain down . Good to hear the trail crew is hard at work making use of the recent precipitation. Looking forward to this weekend!May 29, 2015 at 10:02 am #804012
Trail Report is giving us 10/16 trails open today. I’ll be heading out on my lunch break, and will come back in with a more detailed report for the afternoon.May 29, 2015 at 1:27 pm #804018
Amazing dirt out there today! On a quick lunch break I managed to put laps in on Embryo, Raison Run and most of O-Chute before I was cut short by a blown out sidewall.May 29, 2015 at 5:44 pm #804022
Conditions today can only be described as perfect. Was all-time out there on the hill. The moisture has soaked in and the dirt is like Velcro. Lots of traction. Should be equally good in the AM. Rain is forecasted in the afternoon so be sure to check conditions before heading up.
Supposed to be record dry and hot next week so get the on the primo dirt while the going is good.
Great day!June 6, 2015 at 10:22 pm #804225
Real good conditions out there today! The brief bit of rain that shut things down on Friday didn’t really have any impact on the trails.June 9, 2015 at 11:04 am #804263
Just a note that O-Chute will be closed on Saturday this weekend as a portion of it is being used for the Met Con Blue Adventure Race. The trail may also need to be closed for portions of the day on Friday and Sunday for setup and clean up, but we’re waiting for the final word on that and will update you as we find out.June 12, 2015 at 9:55 am #804367
Due to the weather overnight and this morning, the Bike Park is currently closed. Patrol will be heading back out at noon to reassess conditions.June 12, 2015 at 10:12 am #804369
Thanks very much for timely update. Many of us hoping to make it up Sat and or Sun. Please keep us posted.
Fingers crossed you get less rain than expected today.
