You know, as soon as I saw your Instagram post with the new bike I thought “I bet Marc will do this on the Stiggy!”
I adjusted the outbound route so out of about 120 km, we’ve got 45 km of Singletrack, 25 km of rail trail, and 50 km of a mix of gravel and paved roads. Mostly gravel.
Looks like a good route. I’ve ridden the Hamilton/Branford rail trail section and enjoyed it.
Message me if you’re free on the 6th-7th and would like to come along on our trip. Trying to fit as much singletrack as possible into it.

I’m good with start location. FYI just booked campsite 8 at Albion Hills, good for 2 tents and a hammock, fully shaded, lots of trees. Campsites 7 and 9 still available. Looking into Guelph and Rockwood now.
How tough are some of the climbs relative to local stuff in the Don? Just trying to figure out the best chainring option. My current setup I can get up pretty much all the grades in the Don with little fuss, but if there’s some extended climbing I might want to gear down a bit more. Really looking forward to this trip!
