I was planning to take the train, but if a vehicle would be helpful, I can bring one.

They charge in your currency of choice. Their prices don’t exactly track exchange rates, they seem to be close, but then adjusted to be an x.99 kind of price.
As said, use paypal with CRC.

@RyderRay Did you block the other end so nobody will ride the beech and find a drop at the other end?
I’m sure it’ll get fixed up soon enough.

Jenson has a warehouse at Ontario airport near L.A, right beside Fedex and UPS. That’s a big part of how they get stuff to you so fast.
They have another warehouse a little further in from the coast at Riverside, backing onto Sycamore Canyon. I think it’s the bigger of the two. It has a showroom up front with a few things and they’ll grab you…[Read more]

BDH bikes in Hull, Quebec has some excellent deals sometimes, usually on last years SRAM and Devinci stuff. Calgary Cycle Online also, got a last model year Fox F120 RLC Fit for $350 a few years back.
JensonUSA collects Canadian taxes during the checkout process. It does mean that you always pay taxes, but that’s really not unfair. The tradeoff…[Read more]

Like I said, it’s been a bad year. Usually I’d have done the work commute a dozen times before doing a Tuesday night 100k, but the weather or my schedule has been bad. After doing those 100k days on the MTB I just didn’t feel like riding for the rest of the week. Last year I’d have still ridden to work once or twice after that and the trails would…[Read more]

Anyone considering joining that hasn’t done these before, they’re a great time!!

Nick Boers replied to the topic Trail light idea… probably stupid, but why not? in the forum TECH TALK 5 years, 7 months ago
Your biggest obstacle will probably be driving it. Many of the higher output COB LED arrays (which that appears to be) are designed to run from high voltage sources. There is probably some sort of driver in there that lets it run from the wide range 85-265VAC, but you’re likely going to need to step UP you battery voltage to get it to run.

Marley: Polarizers are great in many situations, but trail riding I just don’t see the benefit. Add in modern technology and it’s lose-lose if they’re primarily for MTB.
Jesse: One word dude: Lasik. In more words: I never wore contacts but I do know what you’re talking about with the spatial awareness. You’re used to a point in space in front of…[Read more]

I picked up a cheap pair of Tifosis from PerformanceBike when I was in Michigan a few years back, with the three interchangeable lenses. Used all three yesterday. Grey tint for the morning commute and riding to Loblaws, Amber tint for most of the ride and clear when it got dark.
As mustgofaster said, the amber really increases the contrast on…[Read more]
