Unfortunately the chain ended up snapping pretty quickly, but I was still able to roll home fairly effectively.

What are people’s thoughts on a 2006 Stumpjumper FSR with new drivetrain and recently rebuilt suspension? It’s a bit of a departure from what I was originally looking for, but it seems like a decent rig.

Definitely leaning towards used at this point. I think for the most part I could pick out potential problems with a used bike. I’ve been keeping mine running through rather significant abuse for a while now, so I know what a trashed bike looks like.

So tomorrow at 7? Parking lot under sheppard bridge seems like an easy and logical spot to meet, so I’d say we should meet there.

I can do next wednesday 7.

It’d be possible to get past 8:30 by doubling back on and repeating some trails (which is worth doing in some places). If we did more of a straight shoot through the valley we could be done before 8:30. That said you can’t really do a straight shoot through without missing some trails.
