Ive always been a fan of high pivot bikes. Ever since those early years ridding Bromont with the Balfa crew, i’ve loved the concept and how the bikes worked for my style of ridding..
The high pivot is making a bit of comeback. Anyone following the past few World Cup seasons has surely seen Amaury Pierron laying waste to the gnarliest tracks…[Read more]

Sad news. We’re not invincible. Thoughts go out to the riders friends and family.
Took a lap through the whole loop last week. Very badly overgrown, particularly in the north section, where we are loosing trails again it’s so bad. Some trees down, one HUGE one in the south that is bigger than my saw can handle. The rest I should be able to remove.

Sounds like a fun trip. There are trails in Kincardine. The Bruce site has some good options as well. Carrick Tract is fun. You can also come back part way, but not all the way to Three Stages, and ride Kolapore.
Looks like you had an amazing trip @nyby Stoked for ya!
@dirtseeker and I are heading out Tuesday-Thursday to do the RFG bikepacking social loop. 3 days, 2 nights roughly 350km If anyone would like to join, let me know. I’m doing it on a mountain bike this year.

Was out with the Dundas valley builder this weekend and he indicated the trails are still wet. Christie is closed even last I heard. As is the Hydrocut. I haven’t been to Puslinch in a few weeks but it is being ridden. I think if given a day to dry up it should be ok. Three Stage is ok up top depending on the day but wet at the bottom still.
Anyone up for an overnight trip tomorrow night. Maybe up to Peterborough and back. Easy ride. 100km each way. Fun dinner and camping then back. Best on CX bike but anything goes. Mostly rail trail. Departure in Uxbridge.
Like to leave at a reasonable time on Friday. Earlier the better. Early start on sat as I have to be back for an evening party.
Opening weekend was pretty sloppy. I was overly excited and ate it on more than one occasion. Still a blast but disappointed in myself for not backing it off a notch. Just too eager and stuffed it. Healing up and ready for more, which is all that counts I suppose.
On a more positive note, the roof top tent was brilliant. So pumped on this…[Read more]
