Im starting to get worried about the construction close to the old historical bridge and at the end of Dundas. No idea what that is about. Hopefully they don’t block off trail access. Speaking of blocking trials. Found more blocked trail. Crazy how fast the vegetation pops up. Need to start cutting back lol.

The Metro Depot is all clear now. There is still one spot close the the hospital parking lot. The tree and big roots. Going to clean it up so its ride able. Starting to look real nice in the creek now with some colour.

I been clearing trees for a few weeks now. Someone in there thinks its a good idea to start blocking parts of the trail again. I had to deal with the same problem last year also.

There are about 6 trees left from the hospital to Dundas. The motorbike kids are in there eating up the trail.

I did a lot of clearing today. Made it easier to get around all the fallen trees. Still lots of trees down. Its like a war zone in there after the wind storm and then ice storm. Weather looks nice tomorrow so ill continue trying to clear some more out.

I’m also in for a short ride. Bringing out the rigid bike after building a wheel up for it last evening. My dropper post failed on my Banshee lol.

Thanks Neville Park i was looking for that video to post. Got to love YouTube comments.
Yeah right. A video from a company who has never designed a good working front derailleur in first place.caRpetbomBer replied to the topic New chainrings and 11-46 cassette from Shimano in the forum TECH TALK 3 years, 8 months ago
One up components is releasing a 10-50 cassette range for shimano. Just for all you people that say a 1x drive train doesn’t have enough range. Whats a front derailleur again>? lol

@fietser The jumps blocking the trail are on the west side of the Etobicoke Creek. North of the queensway bridge. Its the small trail going along Little Etobicoke creek to the train tracks.

Been doing a little work on the East side in between the QEW and Dundas. I found a shovel and fixed some of the deep ruts. Cutting stuff back and some new lines in the works on the west side in Mississauga. I cant believe the amount of junk in there. We have a little trouble of some kids building jumps beside the queensways bridge. They…[Read more]

I never ended up building any wheels for my mid fat. I built up my old carbon bike with rigid forks. I just tested the bontrager chupacabra 29×3.0 today. Tire is BIG lol. I left a little auto steer when riding at first going down a hill. Running around 13psi feels real good. The front end just floats over bumps. Endless grip. Meet the…[Read more]
