Pretty cool bike check by GMBN with Iago Garay from Andes Pacifico Enduro Race in Chile. Some cool insight on the move from Bronson to Hightower with some juicy bits about a new prototype link.

Guys have been stuffing longer shocks in the Nomad and Hightower, but it’s a hack and a new link would really be amazing. The Hightower can already be two bikes in one with the chip and wheel size options but a proper link that accommodates a longer shock would be incredible. Current hack gets a 57mm vs 50mm stroke shock in the HT, which delivers a 150mm vs 135mm rear end. This is then paired to a 160mm fork #monstertruck. Current Nomad hack ups travel to 170mm, though a new model is in the pipe and it will likely come stock at that travel #minidh.

Greg Minnaar has also been spotted testing a modified Hightower. I guess the question is whether it will be a new bike or aftermarket link. I suspect a new bike as dollars are in a new frame not a link. Time will tell.

Good day in the forest yeterday #notenduro

Apparently I am not using my Hightower to it’s full potential. Man these guys have skills. Looks so fun! Cant wait for summer road trips!
