Anyone doing any fun fall road trips? Next weekend is closing time for many lift access resorts including Blue and Camp Fortune.

A crew from Blue and I are doing a quick trip to ride Kingdom Trails and Bromont Enduro trails next weekend. Really looking forward to it. Kingdom has been on the bucket list for a while and I hear the earn-your-turns stuff at Bromont is next level. Anyone been, wondering what bike to bring.

Also looking to hit Pisgah later this month or in January again. Only got a taste of it all last time I was down. Fall is apparently the best time for North Carolina, though it was pretty amazing in Jan.

Anyone else got anything fun coming up? I’d still love to hit the Gats, Tremblant, VMSM and MIchigan before the snow flies. Locally, I want to hit Porky and Bucky as I haven’t been yet this summer. Might camp for that one.

Pretty much the best roadtrip ever with these guys. East Burke, Kingdom Trails and Bromont did not disappoint. Some big rides on big terrain. I’ll be doing this s few times each year now.

Seb Kemp and Dylan Wolsky of the MTB Nomads were down a few days ahead of us and made this little edit. The terrain is legit. So good.

That is a nearly perfect east coast trip. I’d love to join next season. Also aiming to go to St Anne WC, haven’t been since 2008.

Just nice to ride somewhere that the rocks haven’t been picked clean off every trail. It’s super well build but raw and the riders respect the trails.

What are the other trails at Bromont like? I’ve only ridden DH there, but it would be a great option on the way home (or to) the Quebec City area for riding.

A few of us are headed down to Pisgah from January 2nd-7th. We should have a house, so there’ll be room to crash, if you’re down there!

Bromont on enduro/trail bikes is pretty amazing. Locals are keeping the bigger loops pretty tight lipped but it’s not difficult to put together a nice loop. With a few lift assisted runs added to the climbing, you can combine the best of both.

Pisgah in Jan would be amazing. I really loved it there last time I went. Was more of a big bike trip, with a day at Bailey Bike Park, but would love to go back and do a few big epics.

Great pictures Marc. I took a fall trip to Kingdom last year and throughly enjoyed it. Sadly, there have been no fall MTB trips this year. Combination of doing other things and the biking crew not being able to get schedules to line up. Adult life.

I recently watched a video of Neilson Est. It looked so fun. Neilson Nord is still one of my favourite trails I’ve ever touched in the east and that’s another place I was hoping to get back to.

I’m dreaming of Pisgah. It’s probably number one on my “not in BC ” list. It’s an all year destination eh? I hadn’t thought that place would be going at Christmas.

Last year was a little warmer than usual, but this is what Pisgah was like between Christmas and New Years….
