As such, should we perhaps the ride earlier tonight? 6:30? or perhaps instead start at cricket tree at 7 if no one can make an earlier start? Unless anyone has ideas how to move sunset later?

I just rode the west from loblaws through to the end of foreplay. Dirt is super tacky with a few minor puddles in the usual spots. The Don was super high this afternoon. Bring a kayak.

I think the majority of CX riders in the Don ride to improve their technical skills on their CX bike. You won’t gain any material fitness benefits riding CX on the singletrack.

@stephen_reese I rode Motown on Saturday afternoon. Was a little wet then, but should be good to go as the other trails are.
Having said that, there are about 30 billion mosquitos, and the forest is starting to take over. The railroad fence at the end is also challenging to get around.

Rode Pottery to end of 4play – Most of it is in great shape. Swamp has one spot that is quite swampy. The beaver dam that jjb mentioned has been cleared and dredged a bit
It looks like we got about 40mm of rain in the don over the last 24 hours, so things might be a little greasy. I’ll meet you in the parking lot though. Maybe we’ll have to have a shorter ride to the brewery today.
Maybe it’s not too soupy for an early BBQ and Rocket if the trails aren’t great?
