So, has every one been riding the scenic route off SHT and I’m just the only sucker who’s been missing out? Nice little addition to that area. Was thick with fluff from the trees this weekend.
Team, any insight into the two mega tree falls on the ridge in the last week or so? I feel like they both happened when there were no big winds. Could they have been weakened from the heavy wind we had recently and then let go? In both cases they seem to have fallen towards the east and were large and seemingly healthy.
I often want to pop by my LBS on Sundays, but usually the hours (12-5 I think) get in the way. I don’t really understand any retail operation being closed Sunday, when I’m sure most people want to deal with this kinda thing on weekends or after 5. Can’t help but think people just shop less on Sunday cause they assume more places might be closed,…[Read more]
This weather is nuts, I really wonder if things will be ready much before May after this dump.
Oh snap, I don’t think I realized it was a wolverine (it’s not orange!). I was day dreaming of one of those for the last few months as it ticked so many boxes: Rackable, Fat tire friendly, Stylish, Steel. Natural leather & gum paired with polished alu is spot on. What had me looking at a new city bike were all these new skinwalls, that look so…[Read more]

Your alarm clock is your friend right now. Hit climbmax for the first time since December and had a great time aside from almost puking at the top…[Read more]
After three weekends of riding early morning frosty glop, yesterday I had my first experience with the hydro work that is going on. A giant wood slide has been put in right in the middle of the mMillwood climb and the little orange floppy fence has, obviously, been trampled to so riders could get through. it’s a bit of a bummer, but so far not the…[Read more]
Anyone in early today? Looking around outside and it doesn’t look like there’s much freezing going on over night, which is gonna mean no responsible sandpaper in the morning. Hope I’m wrong, as I was hoping to get out tomorrow morning.
If you can get in early the conditions are pretty sandpapery when frozen. This morning from 8-915ish things were nice & firm from Pottery to Cricket Lot with lots of lumpy footprints & fossilized stupidity closer to the trailheads. After Redway things were more civilized and fun. Boo & Bunny were great too. Amazingly different conditions on the…[Read more]
