Construction of the New Sunnyside Bike Park at Ellis Avenue and Lakeshore Begins

The City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation announced today that it will break ground on the new Sunnyside Bike Park at Ellis Avenue and Lakeshore in Toronto.

New new, Jay Hoots designed skills park, will offer progressively difficult options for off-road cyclist to develop their skills on.  The park will feature a pumptrack, several jump lines, drops, wall ride and a skills trail.  The park will include amenities such as picnic tables, benches and a drinking fountain.  A parking area is also being planned.  This much needed park will features some shaded green areas and will be a great family destination to play on bikes while developing off-road skills.
